Otherwise known as "Hummingbird Clearwing". A member of the Sphingidae family. Range from Alaska and the Northwest Territories south through British Columbia to Oregon; east through the Great Plains and the Great Lakes area to Maine and Newfoundland; south to Florida and Texas.
