Completed foundation, prior to the construction of the frost wall. Pouring this involved transporting 4600 pounds of cement by dolly/wheelbarrow from the front of the house.
The lighting plan for the main part of the barn has 16 recessed spotlights. The center 8 on what will be the flat part of the ceiling required this scaffolding tower.
This shot was taken shortly after the original loft platform was demolished. Although only part of the platform was visibly rotted, during the demolition it became apparent that much of it was damaged beyond re-use. We abandoned plans to save some of it for re-use elsewhere.
